- Preheat oven to 400º. Grease a large casserole dish and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, salt, pepper, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, Parmesan, panko, and egg yolk. Mix until all ingredients are incorporated. Shape into 32 balls and place in a single layer in prepared baking dish. Bake until browned and cooked through, 22 to 25 minutes.
- Assemble sandwiches: To each roll, add 8 meatballs, 1/4 cup marinara, and 2 slices provolone. Bake until cheese is melted, 5 minutes. Top with pepper and garnish with basil. Serve immediately.
